Bicester Town & District Rifle & Pistol Club is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using our site and the confidentiality of any information you provide us with. We operate this site for the purpose of administrating our membership services and general operation of the club, together with offering a point of information for prospective new members.

In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself.

In using our 'Contact Us' page you will be asked to provide certain information including name, email address and contact number.

Membership Applications

Applications for membership are processed exclusively through our website. All submitted data is held and processed on our externally hosted server.

Membership data includes:

Member name, address and contact (including email) information.
Member date, place and country of birth.
Member Firearms Certificate details.
Member firearm usage records.
Details of firearms held.
Financial information including payment history.

Member data will be processed and forwarded to Thames Valley Police or other statutory bodies as required by law. Data will never be sold or passed onto any third party.

Data Processing

Use of member data is restricted to authorized Committee members only. The club will use member information for the purpose of administration, disseminating club information and to enable us to review, develop and improve our services. Members may opt out of receiving newsletters at any time.

Use of Email Tracking Pixels

All emails sent by the system contain a tracking pixel. This is used to track whether each email has been opened by the recipient, and when. This information can be viewed by those users of the system with permission to view email delivery reports. We do not display any information regarding the location of the recipient. Note that the tracking pixel is only activated if the recipient chooses to download images into their email client.

Data Processor

We, Bicester Town & District Rifle & Pistol Club, make use of the myClubhouse software supplied by Simmetrics Ltd to process personal data we include on our myClubhouse website in accordance with our privacy policy set out above. Simmetrics Ltd processes your personal data on our behalf and they can only do so in accordance with our written instructions.
